The other facilities offered by the airport are the night-landing facility, where it uses the latest CAT-1 instruments. Moreover, it also features better navigational facilities.
The terminal building can handle around 700 passengers per hour each at the arrival and departure sections. The other facilities include the elevators and escalators for easy moving around in the airport. Passengers can find many latest facilities like the ultra-modern baggage handling system, check-in counters of about 16, immigration counters separate 4 for departure and 12 for arrival, customs counters of about 4 and security counters. To facilitate easy baggage checking service, there are escalators with conveyor belt.

Some of the airlines that have their operating bases at the airport are Air India offering services to Delhi and Mumbai, Jet Airways connecting cities like Ahmedabad, Delhi, Pune, Chennai and Mumbai, IndiGo Airlines with flight services to Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Delhi, Chennai, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Nagpur, Kolkata, Raipur, Srinagar and Pune.
