Going on a vacation was one of the first things that I had in mind for a very long time. My job kept me busy most of the time and going on a trip was out of the question. Along came a wonderful opportunity that made my dream into a reality. We had an industrial visit planned by the management and I was so thrilled when I heard about the destination – Mauritius. Yes! It was a perfect destination for any nature buff and I was no exception to that!

Everything was in place for the journey and all I needed to do was pack my bags and board the flight. The day finally came and I was extremely happy as this business trip served my purpose of visiting my favorite hotspot, Mauritius.

Choosing Air Mauritius was the best thing that I could have ever done as I was welcomed with an array of services. I boarded the flight at 6:45 AM and reached Mauritius by around 11:15 AM. The entire trip was so relaxing as the seating was very comfortable. The cabins were lined up with lavishly done seats that came with armrests and headrests. The best thing about the seats is that they could be inclined to any angle of your choice.

The services offered onboard were awesome; especially the in-flight entertainment option is worth praising! I was able to watch and listen to my favorite music videos all at the touch of a button! During my trip, I was able to taste an array of delicious cuisines such as the coconut scented prawns, Kadai chicken, lamb Dopiaza, and much more. The tasty treats pinched my taste buds and I kept craving for more! Once the plane reached the airport, I took a cab to De Conti Hotel that I booked a week earlier.

Located very close to the beach, this gorgeous hotel is a haven of pure indulgence! The rooms were elegantly appointed with soft beds, duvets, lavish bathrooms and the list keeps going! The staff here was very friendly and they attended to my every need within minutes. During my stay at the hotel, I was able to relax through exotic spa therapies and other holistic treatments.

The bar at the hotel caught my attention and I headed straight to try some assorted wines and spirits. In the evening, I just spent a leisurely time by the pool, soaking in the last rays of the sun, which looked spectacular. As I was packing my bags to leave, I felt very happy as my trip was amazing and I really wanted to come back to experience this once again! I am looking forward to my next visit!
